Baby it's cold outside

What a difference one week makes. Last Saturday, we were taking fall photos outside of our home. This Saturday, it was freezing cold and snowing 2-3". Yep, the green grass we sat in last week, it won't be visible for the next...say...5 months!

I'm thankful we were able to soak it up from the comfort of our warm home; having no where to go until the evening. On a short walk to visit a neighbor, it was fun to see Lexi's reaction to the big, puffy snow flakes landing on her cheek. "They" say how much fun it is to see things through your children's eyes and I can't wait to for many more firsts to come.

For now she enjoys staring out our windows at all of the white stuff. This momma is happy, as long as the sun is shining.

Below is a snapshot of our Saturday:

World Kindness Day

Last week was World Kindness Day and I think this date has never been more relevant than after the U.S. election and going into the holidays...
