Save the Hybrid for the Carpool
It is common knowledge that babies love car rides, right? We've all heard about the parents of a colic baby using this tactic at 3am to silence their baby. Well Miss L enjoys it "most" of the time...but I've learned that my hybrid SUV is a bit too quiet to make much of a difference. So I have resorted to cranking the volume to a static-filled radio station to create the perfect white noise for our baby. It is a tried-and-true method that works well. I guess I should've saved the hybrid for the later years when I'm toting around the hockey team and officially a carpool mom. For now, I will resort to the sound of static to keep us sane while driving around town.
